First off it's a place of real history, when Naval ships were built from wood, this Live Oak Reserve was established, so there's some neat exhibits in the Visitor's Center and a cool display on the difference and value of this type of Oak Tree...More

Great walking trails! A nice place to take the family for a day in nature. It is also a great place to take your dog for a walk or just get away.

The Naval Live Oaks Reservation is a beautiful nature area on the shores of Pensacola Bay. With picnicing, walking trails, beach areas it is a very peaceful place.
