Both islets of the Gulf Islands Park are just gorgeous. The dunes are lovely and the length of the beach ensure less crowds. Truly worth the cost for a lovely beach experience. *Military can get a free annual pass: Ask the ranger at the gate.

One of my favorite places in the world! I wish that I never had to leave. Everything I need is right there. Bars, restaurants, shopping, solitude, fishing.

This is the best beach in all of the panhandle! You have the historic fort, it isn't very crowded, the beauty of the area is unbelievable. I would stay here year round if I could!

Decided to get away from the crowds and drive down to Ft Pickens area. After Pensacola crowds, the beaches open up to just the dunes, water, birds....peaceful relaxing waters. Paradise getaway. Thank you US Park Service for saving this treasure

Love the gulf coast with it's turquoise water and soft white sand. Awesome way to start the day- enjoying a stroll watching the fish & occasional Dolphin.

This beach is beautiful and clean . We went on a Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. It was not crowded . We found many small shells that were intact . Very very nice and quiet .

I made a trip with my 14 year old daughter for a girl's getaway. We visited Pensacola Beach first. I knew that she might like the busyness. She did until we drove through this area and she saw the beauty. We pulled off in one...More
