Just about the best place to go to the beach in all of the panhandle of Florida. Perdido Key is "the Lost Key" and we here think it is the best kept secret on the Emerald Coast. So if you come, SHHHH or it might get tooo crowded in the future.

Dead beach, no fun, no activity, no kidding!!! This area is mainly for locals, so best go to Pensacola beach for the action!

Stunning white sand beaches, quieter than the bar scene of Pensacola Beach but close to everything....engaging walking trails and wonderful helpful guides.

We visit Johnson Beach on weekdays and it is seldom crowded. If you are lucky enough to visit after heavy weather there is also decent shelling. We typically walk down the Gulf side of the beach and return by going over the dunes and returning on the bay side. On the Gulf side don't be surprised by the squeaking sound... More

This beach is part of the national park list. It is a gem on the perdido key. You will have the beach to yourself except for a few surf fishermen. And of course the wildlife. There is a beach pavilion with restrooms and a covered picnic area. Enjoy!

This beautiful beach is at Perdido Key. Pensacola beach is always crowded, in Johnson Beach, you have trails that you can do by walking or biking. A lot of birds to watch and beautiful sunsets, the best is that is not crowded.

Nothing more quaint or beautiful then here. Watch sunrises or sunsets. Don't look for any hussle or bussle. Just a sweet paradise to go relax, get Sun, fish, exercise or have a picnic.

If you love long walks on the beach, this is it. It's never very crowded, so you have lots of room to explore and enjoy the area. Just as beautiful as any other white sandy beach along the Gulf Coast, except without the crowds,

If you are going to the beach to enjoy the sand and surf without your space being "invaded" by screaming children and other disturbing distractions, you will be so happy you found Johnson Beach. It is a peninsula that has both a windward and leeward side. If you choose to be buffeted by the wind and do some surfboarding you... More
