The lighthouse is a must see. The cost is minimal for a tour of the living quarters and if you climb the 177 steps to the top, the view is breathtaking. It is right on the Gulf and you can see for miles. For the adventurer, there is a ghost tour or you can plan a romantic dinner at the... More

We visited the Pensacola NAS simply to see the Blue Angels practice in late October. Wow! We arrived about 45 minutes prior to the practice. The stands were full so we rented lawn chairs fomr the museum for $3 apiece - proceeds benefit the NAS. That is appropriate. You sit close enough to the flight line that on some maneuvers... More

We really enjoyed our time visiting the National Naval Aviation Museum, and watching the Blue Angels practice fly overs.

we were here for 4 hours. This place is the best I have seen. Has it all over the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio. It is up to date and all under cover. Every thing from First flight to the present. it even has a USCG section for the air history. We were delightged with this place but yoiu... More

Loved spending time here seeing all of the airplanes used during naval times in American history. This place is great for the young to the old at heart. Plan on spending several hours if you want to take advantage of the blue angels flight simulator (recommend not eating first) and watching any of the movies.

The base itself is full of history and a great place to visit with the family. The Naval Air Museum is a must see as well at the lighthouse.

We joined a guided tour and thoroughly enjoyed all of the interesting facts and narrative stories provided by him. I find it tedious reading all of the displays in museums so I love hearing about the displays I am looking at. Lots of planes to see. We also watched a terrific movie while there. The highlight was being able to... More

When in Pensacola or near by definitely go to this museum. Something for every age. I have been many times, and always enjoy it.

We came for Blue Angels Homecoming; some confusion at the gate on Friday, sentry would not let us in even though it was after 8 am when the gates were supposed to open. We were also told at the gate that the museum was closed because of the airshow on Friday, but it wasn't! So, I would caution to always... More
