This free museum is beyond all expectations. There are so many exhibits displaying aircraft throughout the past many decades. It's amazing to see how far flight has come in just 100 years. Seeing a replica of the lunar module was a special treat. Watching the...More

Truely enjoyed the museum. The planes, the history was far more than expected. The kids had fun sitting in the cockpits of several different planes and experiencing the Blue Angeles simulator.

When you visit the Naval Air Station, you will also be able to visit the Museum. They frequently have air shows and it's great for a solo visit or couples or familys with children.

We were here visiting the light house. This is a very nice base. Very clean. The cemetery was a sight to see. Sad, but what an honor to share the ground with these brave men and women.

Made this a day trip from vacatiin in Gulf Shores area. Typical musuem pricing but lots of aircraft and related items to see. No long waits for guided tours. Tour guides very knowledgeable.

This was really fun! And the view from the top was fantastic! You must wear closed toed and heeled shoes! No flip flops or you will be walking barefoot. Not kidding!

Pretty much an entire day there is a lot to see and do and that is of you are a pretty quick traveler and don't spend too much time at each display but well worth it

Think of an airport. If it works to get through TSA, then it will work. Some state driver's licenses do not work for TSA and will not work for this either.

I've never seen a pet inside... but I'm not familiar with their policy on this and didn't see anything on their web-site about it. I'd give the front desk a call and I' sure they can help you. (850) 452-3604 or (850) 452-3606
