This part of town tells you about the history of Pensacola. Make sure you have good walking shoes, hat, water bottles and snacks. Lot's of nice old homes with different colours ! People that I talked to were very friendly too. I feel safe walking around in Pensacola. Marc from Ottawa, Canada.

The village has many houses and museums to explore on your own. guided tours, that last about 1-1.5 hours are worth the time. they are included in admission! houses are really neat. I'm from Indiana and we don't have houses like these to see.

This is a charming restored group of buildings just down from the art museum filled with history and shopping.

Historic Pensacola village is a great stop when in the area! Lined with quaint restaurants, shops and historic buildings, make sure not to skip Pensacola brewery for a cold drink or Dolce and Gelato for a treat! A great way to go back in time and escape the hustle and bustle of the big city!

There were only 6 people on our tour so it was lovely, very informative we learned a lot about the area and spent lengthy time in the four houses that were open, the other museums were well worth visiting and so clean and well cared for.

Mediocre tour spoils it. Interesting and pleasant to wander around. The tour was a real let down, very uninspiring. Nice to see that at least there was a proper historic district.

My GF and I started at the Wentworth building and bought tickets. We were shown all of the buildings that we could access and also told of the walking tour that would get us into the remaining buildings. What a great deal. We started wandering and had a great conversation with the carpenter who was making a bread bowl. We... More

The area around the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival was set around the Historic Pensacola Village combining history, education, fun, art, shopping! Well worth the effort to park & walk, we loved the historic village!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Historic Pensacola Village. I would highly recommend taking the escorted tour, because if you explore on your own, you will not have admittance to very many of the homes. It was a lovely way to learn about Pensacola's history and the guide was very knowledgeable.

Free to see unless you want to pay for a guided tour. The homes in the area are beautiful and if you're interested in history or even architecture to a certain degree, I would definitely recommend this.
