I went Kayaking for the first time over Labor Day. The man who helped me with my rental was very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure I was prepared to go on my adventure. He also had great food when I returned.

Big Lagoon is an interesting place. You have the Lagoon itself that is pretty cool. Then you have the swamp areas that you can walk through on the boardwalk. The kids loved the swamp and getting to see a small 2 foot alligator!

This place is cool. Nice place to catch crabs. We had a good time. We even fished off of the dock. They also have a snack stand too. That was nice. Our family really enjoyed our day here.

if they follow the foot path in the camp ground they will come to the beach within a few minutes, the main Beach at Perdido is a bit further and I would suggest a drive to the main Beach at Perdido as not allot of side walks... More
