Even although far less of the facility is on show than on my previous visit, I still thoroughly enjoyed my visit. On account of there being fewer aircraft to be amazed at, it meant I paid far more attention to those that were. The staff are welcoming, friendly and full of knowledge and only to happy to answer questions in... More

Been here several times over the years, was told it was now only open on weekends and for special events. It's scaled down a lot, doesn't have the great restaurant it used to have, and not as many restoration tours. But still a great deal of fun and perfectly restored planes. I really hope that it reopens by 2020 as... More

For those who visited Fantasy of Flight a few years ago, the current museum will be a little disappointing. The once huge selection is now 20+ WWI & WWII aircraft, some vintage cars, and some models. Despite this, a visit will still take up to two hours, especially if you take advantage of of one of the guided tours led... More

Visited on a Friday (check opening times as they vary a lot) . It is a really great place to see many WWI & WW2 aircraft, most of which are in flying condition in very bright and clean conditions. Nice gift shop area, plenty of parking. Pleasant knowledgeable staff, suggest taking the guided tour as these guys know a lot... More

A lot of great looking planes. Did the tour and learned a lot about the plane from way back to the first world war. Hope to come back soon. Wayne from Maine.

It was sad to see the gates were locked when we went to visit - we were told down the street that they only do events and personal openings now. We wee there several years ago and loved the old planes - hopefully maybe they will get some funding to reopen.

Disappointed that only a small hanger is now open. When we visited a few years ago it was a must for aircraft enthusiasts but no longer, a waste of fuel travelling there

Kermit Weeks, founder of “Fantasy of Flight” (FOF), has such a hard job. He must decide which of these beautifully restored aircraft to fly on any particular day. My sarcasm aside, here’s an excerpt of his bio: “For Fantasy of Flight founder Kermit Weeks, the opening of his aviation-themed attraction has been a natural extension of a lifelong, unbounded passion... This is a great place if you want to see some ww1 and ww2 planes. They have a couple older cars and some airplane cockpits you can sit in. Its not as big as it use to be because of a major remodel they're going through right now. They do have a little gift shop and restrooms.
