The Cultural Center been serving Port Charlotte and the surrounding community with educational, recreational, social and entertainment activities since 1961. More than 12,000 happenings go on each year on our 90,000 square foot campus. The Cultural Center enriches the lives of our residents and visitors by offering a theater, The Learning Place - for the Arts, Academics, Dance and Exercise; Beaches Cafe - for delicious breakfast and lunch; and unique shopping in the Thrift and Gift shops onsite. We can also accommodate seminars, banquets, and gatherings of any size in our adjustable 7,200 square foot conference center.Our volunteers, your donations, and the support of the community have allowed us to maintain our legacy as “The Place that Friendship Built”.

Entertainment, various types of classes, good food, and safe people. Easy to enjoy all of it! I have taken computer classes, German also. A couple of my clubs meet there, and I never skip out on the thrift shopping places.

Shops are interesting and there are lots of bargains! Used furniture is in good shape and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is too expensive and the Friday night dace admission should be lowered. Clean facility.

We go at least once a month,look at the 2nd hand shop and usually have lunch. always a vary clean place to be and a good lunch served.

We attended a school banquet the food and speed of service for buffet great. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted great. A gem in our community.
