This place is worth seeing. Pristine untouched beaches. It has lots of animals calling this place home. Never thought I would see deer tracks along a beach. Didn't see any deer but there were tracks everywhere. Lots of bobcat tracks also. We even spotted a...More

We stayed two nights at this campground and enjoyed all that it offered. The beautiful white sandy beaches, the boat rentals and the serenity!!!

I was down at Cape San Blas, visiting with an old army buddy from the mid 60's. The beaches there are all white, with little or no character, and I was wanting to see something more scenic. We went into the park. It will cost...More

We stayed in the campground, which I'd only rate as a 4, since it doesn't have 50 amp or sewer hook-ups. However, the beach is simply gorgeous. Great bike paths in the area too. And a nice hike along the bay.

Great place to visit! The restrooms have heat and showers were nice and hot and stayed on. Not like some parks where you must push button for water. The beach was fantastic. We kayaked the bayside and hiked the 12 mile rt wilderness preserve and...More

Wonderful way to get out on the beach. They offer 2 hour free wheelchair that can go out on the beach. Looks like a wheelchair cart at the grocery store without the basket. I was able to go through the sand right down to the...More

We spent 2 wonderful days camping in the park. Campsites are tight but we didn't find that as a problem. Everyone seemed respectful of others---followed quiet time rules. Two bathhouses in our campground area---clean and well taken care of. The campground sits behind the dunes...More

This campground was wonderful as were the staff and campers. I am handicapped and the handicap shower was wonderful. The beaches everything about it was just really special. We would definitely go back again and again.

Saw some deer and an armadillo. Beach was beautiful and there was a nature trail at Bayside. Restroom was clean and had running water. Most of the campsites were full even in November. Boardwalks across the dunes for easy beach access.

We had site 40 GF. If you don’t mind seeing your neighbors and being close to the restroom then maybe this would be ok for you. You can’t see the ocean from the site but can hear the waves if your neighbors are quiet.

I have been to the campground but not stayed there. I think you would see more traffic in those spots than sites farther back. Also, you may not get much sea breeze as I think the dunes / bluff will block it. Still a nice... More

You would need to check with the ranger. It all depends on the fire conditions. Most of the parks will not let you bring in wood due to pine beetles and other diseases. Best bet, call the park for details.
