The River Lilly is a 34-passenger pontoon boat, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and owned by Eddie and Stephanie Hamrick. Eddie is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain.

The cruise, on parts of the river so wild they were used in the James Bond film Moonraker to represent a tributary of the Amazon, is on the same waters used by early settlers and Native Americans. Each trip is different, but you're sure to see alligators, turtles and lots of native birds, maybe even playful otters or gentle manatees.

I've taken this boat ride several times when I have visitors. It is OK, but not great. It just boats thru part of the north fork of the St. Lucie river. I enjoyed the boat ride that used to go out of Veteran's Park better, especially with one of the very informative captains. Unfortunately, that cruise is no longer in... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Our cruise location and the one that operated 5 miles south of us are indeed apples and oranges. Capt Ray operated in an area that has more historical significance to the port st Lucie area and less opportunity to see wildlife where we are the opposite. Our trip is wildlife oriented... More

Call and make a reservation. Family of four arrived and sat down in the boat, unfortunately when questioned if they had a reservation they said "No, we just thought we could show up". The boat was full with reservations and they got the boot. Also credit cards are not accepted. The Capt. and first mate make a great team, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We try our best to make sure everyone on board gets an opportunity to see the wildlife. Especially when we are fortunate enough to spot manatee. I know if I can't see them then the folks near me aren't able to either so taking the time to spin the boat... More

Very worthwhile eco-tour through the jungles of the north end of the St. Lucie River. Captain and tour guide were very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. They pointed out numerous creatures along the way (alligators, birds, turtles, etc.), stopping at each to make sure everyone on board could see and take pictures. Great fun and very educational for adults... More

Ed and his wife are very knowledgable of local wildlife and flora, so the lovely trip into the "St. Lucie Jungle" on the north fork of the St. Lucie River was especially enriching. They made sure everyone got to see the gators, sliders, herons and egrets we came upon.

The cruise was quiet & relaxing (my fave). We got to see many different birds, gators & other wildlife. Took about 1-2 hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable & kind. Make reservations. Took 4 kids & they enjoyed taking pics.

I really enjoyed the cruise down this wonderful river in the middle of St. Lucie. The captain and his tour guide (wife !) were excellent and shared much interesting information. I found the trees and vegetation more interesting and beautiful than the wildlife.

Looking for things to do with an elderly aunt visiting Florida and came upon this river cruise close to us. Eddie and Stephanie Hamrick own and operate the boat and give a nice educational nature tour on the St. Lucie Aquatic Preserve. They answer questions, point out all the birds, animals, flora and fauna along the way, and tell you... More

We had friends in town for a quick visit who wanted to see some wildlife without having to go too far away. Wow! This is the boat to go on that filled those requirements. Right in Port St Lucie there is this excellent little eco-tour tucked away on the St. Lucie River. We saw about 10 alligators from 3' to... More
