Stop by the main station tospeak with the park rangers. They offer maps and suggestions of best walking trails. We opted for an easy route with our 4 year old.

It certainly feels like you are the only one there! So much beautiful space to enjoy, the sky, the water, the trails, the wildlife, trees & shrubs. A very natural state park. Unhurried, no crowds, quiet....you just hear the wind blowing and the birds calling...More

Lots of plants to see. Saw many birds and even 3 wild hogs in the distance. You do not have to walk very far to see many things.

NIce park right off Walton Road. Good for Bird Watching -- bring binoculars. The trails are flat and smooth. Safe with police patrolling the area.

Water has been too low for kayaks. Call their office for updates. Don't think they have bike rentals. Try Ironhorse Bike Rentals on Hutchinson Island
