Its a great place to take your leashed pup or just go for a nice hike. There are kayak launches for the water folks too. The best place to start your hike is to park out by the launches and walk to the trail head....More

It certainly feels like you are the only one there! So much beautiful space to enjoy, the sky, the water, the trails, the wildlife, trees & shrubs. A very natural state park. Unhurried, no crowds, quiet....you just hear the wind blowing and the birds calling...More

Lots of plants to see. Saw many birds and even 3 wild hogs in the distance. You do not have to walk very far to see many things.

NIce park right off Walton Road. Good for Bird Watching -- bring binoculars. The trails are flat and smooth. Safe with police patrolling the area.

Water has been too low for kayaks. Call their office for updates. Don't think they have bike rentals. Try Ironhorse Bike Rentals on Hutchinson Island

When I was there in April the water levels were to low to kayak.
