- A'drian W1 contributionZiplineThe zipline was awesome, even though I'm afraid of heights but went through everything without giving up. But troy and Chris did what every instructor did, get rid of the fears etc. I would definitely do it again. Except the little walk up though.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten November 19, 2023

The views from the top of the lines and while zipping down were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the fallsVisited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten November 22, 2023

The Bad If you do not want a photoshoot - you can self guide around the tours - bare this in mind! The Ugly Nothing - it was stunning.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 3, 2023
- AmyLNewcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom140 contributionsBeautifulWe nearly missed out on this until our hotel told us about it as I feel Dunns is much more popular but YS Falls is beautiful and a lot less crowded. On arrival a guide will take you up the 3 different fall levels for safety and show you where to walk and will even take photos for you. If you don't want to climb up the falls itself there are stairs to the side. As well as the falls you can zip line and there are pools. They have eating facilities, toilets and changing rooms. Such a great day out.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 21, 2023
- K K1 contributionZip-lining experienceIt was a really nice experience the water was cold. We mostly went to zip line and it was an amazing experience my mother and I were terrified by our guides assured us not to be afraid and made the experience overall fun. (Neil and Marquise) are the only names I remember. Marquise I believe took excellent videos for me and even go me a shot of the scenery.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten December 30, 2023
- Sara M1 contributionCanopy tour at the YS fallsWe spent about 3hrs there and it was fun. We tried the zipline and thanks to Chris, Marques and sorry I forgot the name of the third guy, it was more fun. It’s short and it costs $50 per adult, but for us as a first experience was fun!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten January 5, 2024
- Joanne KMarlborough, Massachusetts14 contributionsYS FallsWe had a great time on our trip to YS Falls. Our 45 minute ride was interesting Our guide from Island Routes had a lot of information about Jamaica. When we arrived at the falls we were assigned a guide. I told him at the bottom of the first water fall that I would just stay there and my husband could go on up to the top of the falls. The guard said he would be with me all the way. He actually led me by my hand up the falls over al the slippery rocks and over the paths to the top. He had our cell phones and took videos and photos all the way up. He was fantastic. I never felt afraid because I trusted him. At the base of two of the falls we swam in the pools. The water was cool and clean. At top zip lining was a choice as well as rope swinging. I would highly recommend the YS Falls as a wonderful Jamaica visit. Our guide’s name is TC. Thank you so much for a truly amazing experienceVisited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten January 12, 2024
- andycoldhamCrawley, United Kingdom1,032 contributionsAbsolutely AwesomeThe entrance fee is $21 US pp, an absolute bargain in my opinion, I was just gutted I had to spend over $100 US to get there. However the falls themselves are fantastic. There are 7 cascades in total and guides will escort you around the falls for free, and take your photos at the best spots. At the last cascade there is a huge rope swing towards the largest falls which is great fun. The beauty of this trip, is once the guides show you where to go, you can spend your own time re visiting the falls at your own pace. The entry fee allows guests to spend all day there if they wish and after the falls, guests can laze in the 2 shallow pools, eat and drink at the restaurant, visit the shop or use the very clean toilets. It is a great day out, and I only wish we could have stayed longer.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten January 14, 2024
- Sondra K1 contributionAWESOME!!Great treatment of my husband & I. Our guide was careful to ensure to give us specific instructions so we would be safe walking into water over rocks & guided me by holding my hand sometimes. We did ziplining too, which was AWESOME!! Wonderful guides (Patrick, Tory, & Jason)! And the ziplining was SO much fun! My 1st time ziplining.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten January 20, 2024
- Bod C1 contributionWorth every dollarThursday Feb ,15,2024 I made one of the best decision of my life by visiting YS Falls. The staff at the main entrance modeled great costumer service. The experience at the fall was great. I had 3 lovely young men as my guide at the zipline. Shout out to Chris, Wallace and Markeys. Markeys captured some lovely footage for me, while Chris was my reciever. Wallace made sure I was comfortable before sending me off. The food was good and reasonable priced. Overall great experince.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten February 16, 2024

This place was amazing, very well managed. When you arrive, you MUST have a mask, pay your entry fee and you hop on the bus to take you up to the falls. When we went the water was too high so we didn’t walk through the falls but it was still amazing to look at and take snaps. My husband went on the zip line, he loved it, that cost an extra $50 but it’s worth it. They also have three pools to cool down in. There are a lot of locals there too, so can get packed a bit, bit it’s still fabulous. We loved it. You should definitely check it out.

For my 30th birthday my sister and brother-in-law booked my boyfriend and I a Zip-lining and YS Falls experience through Island Routes during our stay at Sandals Negril. We had a couple hiccups, as no one else at our resort or its close sister resort had booked it. I was ready to just accept a refund or a different tour, but I'm so glad they ended up sending just the 2 of us anyway. It was about an hour and a half drive from Negril, but our driver Tafari was great and got us there and guided us through the check in process. You then get on a bus that takes you through the YS Farm/Estate up to the falls. They were very cautious, all wearing masks and making sure they and guests sanitized their hands and equipment often. Our 2 zip line guides were fantastic and made the experience fun, I regret that I didn't write their names down(I should know by now that I'm not good with names). After zip lining another guide Brian(I wrote his down) took us into the falls and guided us through some pools and up to the rope swing while taking pictures (and videos!) with my phone so I could experience the falls without having to worry about my phone! Would definitely recommend this experience! I wish I'd learned more about the area while we were there but learned that it has a fairly significant history.

Excellent.
A few things
Traffic
We followed Google from Montego Bay it was a horrendous journey.
The B6 was the recommended route it was rough and got worse when a part of the road was washed away we were rerouted through bad AF country my car took a pounding.
We took the longer route back along the A2 and B8 roads much better and we got home quicker.
Once we got to the falls the country side there is beautiful.
The staff are professional and the entire experience works. We had got there late and a staff member explained that there was no more parking but advised us as to where we could park.
Entrance fees and food are quoted in both USD and Jamaican dollars but there is no differential so they are not scamming you on the exchange rates.
I was hungry so we first bought food it was explained to us that it would take 15 minutes to be ready. I allowed for 30 minutes because nothing is ever on time in Jamiaca it took 12 minutes faster than they had said it would.
Food was about a 6/10 better than average, fair price and the wait was not too bad.
We could change no problem, never felt unsafe in regards to personal belongings.
There are nice little seating places near each point where you can enter.
The staff at the areas where you can enter where helpful when I asked questions, nobody made me feel like they were throwing their weight around and trying to be bossy. They did not harass us for tips or any of the other things that make Dunn’s falls unpleasant.
The gift shop is very nice although a tad expensive.
My pet peeve on this island is litter and pollution - they nail it. Clean environment bins to throw waste in and compost toilets.
Well done to them on their environmental sensitivity that was a big plus for us.

We bought a combo package that began with five zip lines. The longest is 1000 feet, which allows one to really get some speed going. All the zips were fast and fun, and right over the falls. The only thing is we felt a little rushed, with no time to look round between lines. The guides were nice and very reassuring. Then we had a guide to the falls. There are five falls with pools and at least 3 of them are deep, no touching bottom. We were able to swim under the falls and bathe in the thundering water. It is ideal for photos! This is an incredible bargain, at less than $100 per person.

The six of us had John from Dudley B.S.T. Drive us around Jamaica on February 13, 2020. Had a great day with John and a wonderful time at YS Falls.
We decided to do the zipline over the falls.
Lennox, Kawean, and Johnathan showed us a great time. It’s $49 US dollars each but if there are more than five people it’s $35 US Dollars.
We swam in the chilly falls after. Don’t worry about having a towel with you at the bottom of the falls. It’s warmer when you get out. Not cold at all.
Only thing we didn’t like was being hustled by the guys in blue shirts offering to take our picture for us with our camera. They expect a tip. And they practically grab the camera out of your hands. We had to actually put our cameras against our chests.
They don’t bother locals ..... only tourist.

YS falls epitomizes professionalism intertwined with that of a family atmosphere where all was treated fairly and equally accomodated. The staff is very exceptional, courteous and understanding. Parking was hassle free as agents escorted your vehicle to a rightful spacious parking. Upon entering the premises , the staff ensured all COVID-19 protocols and security guidelines were practiced , observed and honor. The bus ride to the falls opened the door to the ambiance of the sensual falls and experience that awaits you. The compound implodes you with all sufficient guidelines and information that eliminated the need to further question a staff member , however the staff members are 100% knowledgeable and vibrant to answer all your concerns. ALL the staff members were A+. I will however highlight my personal interaction with Chris at the Zipline cashier counter, Markeys and Patrick who assisted me and were my Zipline experience guides. They were all very professional giving very clear, concise and repetitious safety instructions. The lifeguards we're very vigilant , the workers that assisted with ALL the watersports we're impeccable. I was and still am in total awe at the tremendous love the workers exemplify, the energy was evident and without a doubt, it was well reciprocated. " Out of many one people indeed , One Love "

In hindsight we planned this poorly as part of three trips in one day, but you could feasibly spend most of a day here and for only $20 per person. You arrive and are shuttled five minutes by bus up to the falls. Here there is two or three pools you can use, a gift shop and somewhere to leave your bags.
You then are free to walk the brief stroll to the walks whenever you feel ready. There will be experienced locals waiting to offer you a camera service. At first this felt like a bit of a con but was well worth it. They take your phone and trail up the 4-5 different sections of the falls with you highlighting the best spots and taking pictures on your phone. Once you have reached the top they expect a tip as goes without saying and you are then free to spend as long as you like in the falls.
If you have wet-shoes i would advise them. My fiancee and I didn't know this and you end up walking a lot of it in bare feet which is uncomfortable. I would say most people did have them. It can also be awkward to move around on the rocks under the falls without them. A few bruised toes to say the least.
A beautiful spot and well worth the trip .

Very nice waterfall! Nice place to swim & take photos. Jump in if that’s your thing! Admission is very reasonable. Bring water shoes! Or buy some there, they have nice ones with Jamaica design on them, affordable too. The zip line over the falls is exhilarating I high recommend it (additional cost) the guides for the zip line were great & so funny, we had a blast. I see people mentioning lockers but when we went we were not offered lockers and told we need to leave our belongings with our driver.

It was beautifull, you climb up the falls with a guide and he takes pictures of you. I lost my apple watch by the swing they charged a price for searching the lost and founds and it depents how mutch they ask. They started at 100$ to search it, in the end i payed 16$. Don't let them ripped you off. An other guy needed to pay 80$

Visiting as part of a combo tour. Stayed for about 2.5 hours.
Food was provided and was outstanding proper authentic jerk chicken rice and salad. Yum.
Lifeguards ask if you want pictures taken on your camera, this is well worth it. The snaps we had are amazing and well worth the tip given. The lifeguards are not allowed to ask for tips but so worth it for the beautiful photos you wouldn't usually have unless you pay a fair amount of them. They also take a huge amount of photos.
Amazing experience!!

Does the cost of the zip lining cover the entry into the falls or do you have to pay both?

How long is the zip line? Just over the falls or does it also go through the trees some? Trying to figure out if it is super short or a longer ride.

Yes they have lockers you can rent for $5.00. They give you the key. We took our phone because the guides will hold it and take your pictures for you. They come out amazing. Highly recommend.
