This was one of my favorites. The items in this place were amazing. Pretty glad I didn't live in those times, but I love learning about them. I did see some very familiar items from my Grandma and Grandpa's farm, and it brought back some very fond memories. A must see!!

We were not really sure about this at first because of the old jail tour where they separate your family and lead you through but this was a neat tour. If you are in a hurry then skip this. The Oldest Store Museum is a actor led tour through the old store. It's really informative and interesting to see all... More

After a swing through the adjacent History Museum I took a guided tour of the Oldest Store. It was actually the only General Store at the time period and could provide all the new modern gadgets to the prosperous city. Our guide explain what was available at the time period and what could be obtained for a price. It included... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Isaac and George make it a lot if fun. Lots of interaction. A lot of antique pieces with what it would have cost back then. Crazy to think how far just 10cents would go. I would have liked it to be a little longer. They have plenty in there to talk about. Thats the only reason... More

Can you imagine a store owner being able to buy enough stock to be able to put one of everything in storage and never sell it? Everything you see is new but 100 odd years old. Incredible.

If this place didn't sell it, you didn't need it! You get to pick a free stick of "candy" from the jars on the counter too!

St Augustine was a delightful place to visit with many interesting pieces of history. The Oldest Store Museum was our favorite by far. It contains an amazing array of period pieces in excellent condition. The tour guides do an excellent job of maintaining their character role throughout the tour. Additional time is given to linger and explore. Highly recommend this... More

Wasn't too sure about this, but the Wife wanted to go. I really enjoyed it as the actor led guide was hilarious and made it that much more enjoyable.

Lots of vintage items to see and fun tour guides that kept you in the era while describing many of the museum items.
