I have to admit, I love wax museums, ever since I was a little girl. My dad took us once to Niagara Falls and I got to see my first one. Later in Spain, he took us to another one. I am fascinated on how good (or bad) they can achieve perfection when recreating a person. This wax museum is... More

Great to see historical figures such as King Henry Vlll and all his wives. Micheal Jordan, Johnny Depp,Harry Potter, Ray Charles, Anne Oakley, various Presidents of the United States and dictators such as Hitler, Stalin,etc.. Each figure had information about who, what and when they influenced history.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing all of the wax figures. It was a quick walk, but had lots to see. Supposedly all figures were life-sized. We were surprised to see how short people used to be!

Some terrific creations here. From Marc Antony, to Hitler, Roosevelt, Seinfeld, Tiger, MLK, Britney Spears, Einstein, it has tons of truly lifelike faces and charcters. Each creation I was told had athentic real human hair. The heads alone took three months to make, and torsos, eight months. Like this a lot! Some great photographs here.

If you take the hop on hop off bus tour you can buy your tickets from them for $3.00 off. This wax museum is the oldest US. Many of the wax figures are historical individuals or politicians so if you are expecting a lot of current celebrities you might be disappointed.

It was a nice wax museum. Lots of interesting pieces and exhibits, but I'd say nothing out of the ordinary. If you're needing something less historical to do in the city, maybe kids might like it

Cute store to check out, just saw the museum while on the ghost tour (which is only good for the acting the guide provide). Looks like a good place for kids.

Potter's Wax museum is an excellent starting point to begin your day in St Augustine. Near the parking garage, and having stops for the Trolley and the Red Train right next to it, Potter's is a great stepping off point to explore the old city. Lots of famous figures to see and photograph. Well worth the admission.

I have been to several wax museums and enjoyed them all. We did not actually plan to do this, but it was right there after one of our other stops and we had some extra time. It was well worth it, as the wax figures were very accurate and were a great mix of famous people. I loved seeing Hollywood,... More
