Fun tour of a local chocolate factory. Their chocolate is only sold in Saint Augustine and their local pride is evident. The factory is small, but the tour is informative both about chocolate history and production and also the machines and tools they use. It also features a number of chocolate samples. Currently doing a couple post-Matthew renovations, but nothing... More

I always am interested to see if a place sells sugar free chocolate and if it is a pre-packaged nightmare; not in this case, its all made on site & they have tours on the hour. There are several store but the one near the winery offers the tours for $8 which probably includes a sample. See my post on... More

Recently attended the Whetstone's factory for a chocolate tasting tour and had the pleasure of receiving Ron as our tour guide. My grandparents were in town and I wanted to take them to do something fun. The tour started out great! It wasn't until we made it to the factory that a couple who's small children started to act up.... More

My wife and I visited Whetstone Chocolates during our Honeymoon. The Chocolates here are absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and the location is easy to get to.

The tour was informative and entertaining. I'm not a chocolate lover, but my wife is and she likes this chocolate better than Kilwin's. I found the staff in the King Street store to be a bit unfriendly, but the St. George Street store was quite the opposite.

We took the tour of the chocolate factory you have to pay for the tour and I think it was too high-priced for what you actually saw. Enjoyed the tasting of the chocolate. Would not take the tour again

Interesting, informative tour explaining the process from tree to candy bar! The difference between mass production and Artisan. And samples!

Joe, our tour guide, was personable and funny and made our tour exceptionally fun and interesting! My husband was celebrating his 60th birthday and Joe played into that wonderfully. Would definitely take the tour again the next time we visit St. Augustine!

The tour provided information about the history of the company and the way they are processing the cocoa into different types of chocolate. The presentation is informative and the samples offered were delicious. After the tour you can buy the chocolate you liked best. Recommend a visit, especially with children as the presentation is easy to follow.
