Though there was a lot of history and artifacts here, the museum is fairly small and the gift shop counter, which doubles as the admission counter, was crowded and busy. Appears to cater mostly to children.

We enjoyed the museum. There was a lot of history and artifacts. My wife and I liked it. Would have been great for our kids!

We were pleasantly surprised when we visited the museum - it has factual information and treasures recovered from ships etc on display, along with great interactive fun displays - created by Disney apparently so very good. I just wish we had more time there as we could only stay 45 mins.

From the first step in the door, through the gift shop of quality souvenirs, of actual recovered seafloor treasures, to a treasure map to navigate the museum, this was one of the highlights of my trip to St. Augustine. Wonderful maritime paintings adorn the walls, artifacts are cleverly displayed, and good use of contemporary mixed media to get the story... More

We had such a great time at this museum. We spent about 2.5 hours inside. The tour guide was really interesting and fun to listen too. Learned a bunch of stuff we didn't know. Well worth the money. My kids age 10 and 7 said it was best thing they did on our trip. Don't leave town without going here.

Enjoyed the displays and set up of museum. So much of the displays are teaching of the way of life and times in history. More true to pirate life than movies. Took tour and really enjoyed presentation and manner of guide.

My wife and I happened to stumble upon the museum while walking around St Augustine. It happened to be cold that weekend and figured why not. The tour was thoroughly enjoyable and even my wife (who's not really into pirate stuff) found it incredibly entertaining. Captain Mayhem was fantastic, the artifacts were unmatched. I can't wait to visit again with... More
