This is a good starting point to begin your tour of the city. If you are a history buff, this will interest you since it contains a lot of good information about the oldest city in the country.

My family and I visited St. Augustine in July. We decided to try the trolley to help with our sightseeing. We purchased a package that included The Old Jail and also the Oldest Store Museum. I didn't buy my ticket so I have no idea...More

I enjoy seeing artifacts and learning about the history of a settlement and how Florida developed and grew. The museum has plenty of interesting items and fun facts. The jail has a guided tour that is very informative.

Any jail is a bit spooky at night but the young man who told his tales about the jail did a great job. He moved around a bit

We toured the jail with Ivy (Poison Ivy) and she was indeed entertaining and a most informative inmate. If you have a chance, do go for the history!

The tour was interesting and the inmate tour guide was a hoot. BUT with 30+ people on the tour it was difficult to hear and close quarters made it hard to see through all the bodies.

Yes but Only the lower level. There's a top floor that is the last part of the jail experience that could not get to if you can walk up steps.
