WE had Ivy as out tour Guide she was really good. She was well informed and made the tour humorous. She told Stories of things that happened in the jail and about Warden Perry. I would recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Old Jail. Our tour guide was very informative and stayed in character. I found myself hanging on every word and description of what it was like back then

We visited with our two kids and had a lot of fun. We also learnded a lot about the old prison and its history. The guide did a really good job. But I'm sure, they all do at this place.

Interesting place, a lot to learn. But it is all about the guide, our guy was a 10. Made you feel the entire experience, included the whole group in stories, interacted well with children. He is pictured in the photos with white hair

There is scaffolding surrounding the entire building right now so it's hard to get an idea of what it looks like. But the tour still go on and the tour guide Marcos was very good in character.

Was undergoing reconstruction. Was not able to take the tour. Walked around a bit. Looked impressive. Whole area very touristy but seems to have been well done.

Am glad to have finally visited this attraction, but it is a little unnerving. Our guide, although perhaps a little new, gave a good rendition of what it was like to have been a "guest" here. Do not think I would be able to handle...More

Disturbing because of the way prisoners were treated and the conditions they lived in, but those were different times and different attitudes. Fun because the guides make it fun. They try to get you to think about what life would have been like back then...More

Our guide made the experience informative and personal. Thank goodness we don't operate this way today!

I love going to the Old Jail. I particulary love going on the ghosts and graveyards tour of the jail. The actors there are so remarkable, and the jail is so spooky after dark. Plan on spending at least an hour there.

Yes but Only the lower level. There's a top floor that is the last part of the jail experience that could not get to if you can walk up steps.
