Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach.

Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

Quite place with wide open spaces--it's hard to imagine this place being crowded. It was wonderful in October, grab a take out order for lunch, head here, grab a table and enjoy. Restrooms are plentiful, the beach is wide and clean. Many local people come here to run and ride bikes--watch for wildlife--as they roam free. Enjoy

We have stayed in many parks while rving and this site is clearly one of my favorite. Large, private and charming (I know it may sound strange to call it charming but it was.) Another great Florida State Park!!

We enjoyed this beach and the stand up paddle boarding opportunity to get close to nature. I would stop by again when we are in the area.

Educational, peaceful, beautiful. Can rent canoes or bikes or just walk-not touristy at all. One building with simple sandwiches and snacks and a shop selling bait, t shirts and such. beach is expansive-unlikely you will feel crowded even if many are visiting that day.

Thanks to the Florida State Parks system for this breath of perfection! Long flat hard beach, perfect for winter walks, long or short, biking & a great dose of sunshine. There's nothing here but sea and sand and birds & that's the point. The $8/day (for a car full) admission is well worth it. Small concession stand at the end... More

Had a great time camping here. Very clean facilities, large picnic table, plenty of space for our giant tent. The beach is an easy walk from the sites, but there is also a very large parking lot right by the boardwalk to get to the beach. The beach store offers rentals and sells plenty of cold drinks and snacks. Very... More

Great walking trails, beaches, and even rentals (although we didn't rent anything). The beach is clean and beautiful, and the boardwalks through the dunes are really cool. A hidden gem since everyone seems to travel to other beaches.

We camped in the State Park and were very happy with the facilities, all nice and clean and available. Bathrooms were bright and clean. It was cool the day we went to the beach, so it wasn't very crowded, but the sand was like sugar and there were some good shelling opportunities. A good walking beach, we saw lots of... More

This is a little gem in St.Augustine. Looks like most people who visit here have trailers or are there for the fishing and kayaking. I was there to walk the dunes. After entering the park you can drive all the way to the end of the road to the beach entrance where there are plenty of parking spots. It is... More
