Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach.

Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

We met some friends here for the day. It was beautiful. The beach wasn't crowded. The bathrooms were clean. The only negative was the very long walk over the dunes. Other than that, it is a perfect beach to spend the day.

This is another of Florida's hidden gems, very clean and quiet. The beaches are beautiful. There are turtles and storks all over the place!! It's a perfect place to park it

The week of Thanksgiving means camping with the family and Anastasia was the lucky campground chosen this year. We reserved sites in the coquina loop where each site is beautifully shaded. I definitely recommend that everyone who visits to bring bikes so that you can see all the park has to offer. We rode our bikes to the different campground... More

Great park easy to get to via Sr 312 or route 206 to A1A north to the park. Sites are a little small. Large RVs need to pick site very carefully.

we went to the beach at the state park expecting a nice beach, now I know we where there a week after the Oct storm but never expected to have to walk such as long was from the parking lot especially when you are carrying heavy items, would not recommend this beach as a family beach

Beautiful beach. Public restrooms available, they were clean. Beach was clean and not at all crowded when we were there. Would definitely go back and spend time.

Parking was easy. Beach and dunes are beautiful. We luckily did not bring our pooch, but we were quite surprised that this must be the only St Augustine local that we have visited that prohibited dogs on the beach. Why?

We stayed at Anastasia State park for 4 nights in our travel trailer. The campground campsites offers electrical, water, picnic table and fire ring. There is a 3 lane dump station for emptying your tanks. The campground was clean, very wooded and pleasant. We didn't feel too close to any of our neighbors. The bathhouse was clean but lacked an... We stayed here in an RV. The campground is very nice, with large sites and good privacy. The beach is gorgeous. The park is so close to the lovely little historic and touristic town of St Augustine. Unlike some Florida State Parks, the campground is not right on the water, but is accessible by a quick bike ride. Nice park!

Great beach access. Very clean beach. Has boardwalks to the beach and a boardwalk overlook. Snack bar and grill beachside but was closed when I was there. The park is huge. Has campground and a landlocked lake for kayaks, canoes and such. Large picnic areas. Very clean public restrooms. Great place for family fun
