More
Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

Beautiful little state park. Untouched by man, little building here with some wildlife. You can camp, ride bikes, walk, etc. Would recommend, and would return.

We stopped here on our way home from St. Agustine as none of us had been before. It is a natural setting with sand dunes and lots of shells.

The state park was absolutely beautiful. The place was extremely clean. There was a great snack bar and gift shop. Restrooms were available. It was so nice to walk along a beach that was not surrounded by homes or hotels just the beauty of nature.

We took a walk on the beach one day then made sandcastles the next! My 3yr old had a blast even though it was a bit chilly. We just went in shorts and T-shirt so she didn’t plan to get fully in the water.

It has an ample beach with good access, and a huge camping area, besides ,there is nothing to do or see at this place especially if you go in the winter time. Not worthy the $8 entry fee.

We love all state parks and this one is no exception. We love this one too. It was so peaceful and serene during our visit.

While we have visited St Augustine several times we have never gone to the beach. We had a leisurely walk on the beach - very few others were there. There is a snack bar we did not visit but we did look into the water...More

I can’t say enough about our visit! Everything was perfect. The weather was great. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground. We camped with a tent and our site was large with plenty of room to spare. We were...More

For Sunday morning, there was a breezy sunny weather - very calm watching the surfs, watching walkers and runners.

Make sure that you get the dimensions of the spot you're staying in because some of the spots are really tight....like you may not have space to park your camper and sit outside without being in the bushes. BRING BUG SPRAY... More
