Excellent for families. Children can see tools used by older generations. All should wear comfortable shoes because there is a trail that should not be lost. Everyone will enjoy it.

A small historic Nature Preserve in St.Cloud, Fl. School groups usually have field trips to learn about local history. There is an old school house as well as a nature trail & gardens. A great place also for photography.

It just so happened to be the second Saturday of the month when we visited, which is when they have a bluegrass "jam". You can bring your own instrument to participate, or just sit and listen. We loved the schoolhouse and were able to go...More

2 different walking trails through wooded areas. But don't go during rainy season as it gets pretty swampy.. But they have old buildings and such to walk trhough, and the staff is friendly and helpful about the plants and trees.

Peghorn has two accessible area that are divided by a flooded dike. Do both areas and you will have a decent hike (60-90 minutes). If you bring your rubber boots...no problem with the overflow then. Maintenance is quite poor and not sure why. My guess...they...More

Went to Peghorn nature park today on a whim. I loved the fact that there was a little "village" of buildings depicting early life in St. Cloud. The little school house was adorable and I loved all of the plants and the Butterfly Garden! I...More
