Although they are going through construction the beach is clean and welcoming if you access a little further down.

If it wasn't for the evacuation this would have been a top 10 vacation. While we were there is was beautiful. Beaches, restaurants. Reasonably priced

Our home from home, our piece of paradise. Have been coming here for more than 20 years and never tire of the place. Great restaurants and fabulous beaches with sugar white sand. Laid back atmosphere and plenty of beach bars. Great for family's and couples.

If you're visiting from out of town and are going here for a beach vacation choose a hotel that is on the beach, or, one that provides transportation to/from. Otherwise it's a major pain to find parking.

Powder white sand, great for shell hunting. Sea shelves gently from the beach. Great for kids. Beautiful sunsets.

Access to beach is free. Parking is not free. IHOP & chick a filet are right across the street. You can bring your own chairs and umbrella.
