Parking is $2 for 2 hours. The parking meters take quarters or credit card. Parking is LIMITED and you will probably have to walk a couple of blocks from parking to the museum. The maximum time allowed on the parking meter is 2 hours, so you will have to CONTINUALLY make the trip back to the car to feed the... More

Love this museum. Try to go on a Thursday night when tickets are 5 dollars, From 5-8PM you can visit everything and join in a little party on the porch (there was nothing to eat when we got there). We saw a great Latin American art exhibit. The permanent collect has some surprises, Don't miss it,

Thank you for your very nice review of the Museum of Fine Arts. Our Porch Parties are held on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. with a bar and light bites from a Food Truck, with food to purchase, as well. The MFA is open every Thursday until 8:00 p.m. with $5 after 5, but the Porch... More

I went to the Museum of Fine Arts as an alternative to the afternoon sun. I used the $5 off coupon for the entrance fee and spent a couple of hours there. I felt it was good value and the art and exhibits were interesting. I feel if you had to make a choice I would go to the Dali... More

Had a couple hours to kill and wanted to go in here b/c I love museums.... Not disapponted at all; It was easy to walk through and had some great pieces. Worth the $17 admission fee. Walk around the place-- has some really interesting banyan trees around it!

The collection is quite limited. As a show art year advertising two major painters, the museum had only one painting of each. The dining facility is excellent and beautiful.

We lived in Chicago for years, and we visit NY every year. Smaller cities cannot compete, but we love smaller museums in the US and in Europe. We love the ones that focus on some artist or an areain their collection. This small museum doesn't have any focus we could see to their collection, and they are so very overpriced.... More

I visited this museum for a wedding. The ceremony was held outside by the long draping trees followed by the reception inside. It was a very upscale venue with beautiful artwork as the back drop.

Small, but nice collection of art, near the Tampa Bay waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. A great rainy day option if you can't go to the beach. A relaxing venue for affordable concerts by talented musicians, too. Many good restaurant choices nearby.

I went expecting a 2-3 hour experience. I spent 5. Enough said? The breadth and quality of the collection far exceeded my expectations. I will return, because even after 5 hours my appetite had not been satisfied.

We arrived at the museum just after 10.00 am, expecting to spend maybe an hour and a half looking at the collection. Within thirty minutes it was clear that the exhibits would require much more time than this. By 11.00 am, we decided to take a complimentary docent tour, which started off with just the two of us plus the... More
