Great place for kids

A great way for the kids to spend a day. Plenty of both fun and educational experiences for kids of an age

My six-year-old daughter had a great time, so I'm giving this place a high score. I, on the other hand, felt that it was dangerous. There were big kids running all around throwing things, cutting line, taking toys from younger kids, butting in to play areas, being holy terrors! Staff members were walking around picking things up and putting them... More

This is a very poorly planned and set up children's museum , loud and chaotic , the exhibits are all on top of one another. With all that being said I would still recommend it for families with young children who need a little break from the Florida sun

Wow, what a find. Thanks to TripAdvisor, we found out about this place and it was a huge success. Such a nice break from the pool and beach. Our kids were 7.5y & 5y Both loved it. We were there a good 3 hours but could have been longer. There's loads to discover - it's well worth it. Get there... More

This museum was a total free for all. Kids were running all over the place with no direction and seemingly no parents. The place was a mess. Every time we tried to use an exhibit, six unsupervised kids would run in and take over. They should limit the number of people allowed at a time.

There is an elevator and stairs to the only other floor (2nd floor), and... More

On our 4th day in St. Petersburg we'd hit or limit of sun. We needed something that would be out of the sun but fun! This was the prefect place. The Sunken Gardens and the Great Exploration (GE)were in the same location. In fact you can buy a combo deal. But the visit for the gardens and the GE. Suggest... More

This place is hidden inside a building that is also the gift shop for Sunken Gardens. I never knew it was here. The employees were nice enough to give me a tour of the inside and I must say I was pretty blown away at all the things they have! If I were a kid I'd be in heaven. There... More

When it's way too hot to play outside, this is a decent alternative. The pretend grocery store and vets office are cute for young kids. The noise level is sometimes wild but it is for kids.

History, Fun and Interaction for the Children! A great place to take the kids for the day and even better with cousins or other family and friends to go as a group! Picture area and something to talk about afterwards with your Children! Worth the Visit
