If you're planning a trip to Saint Petersburg, you cannot miss this place...Just the building is so unique, with an spiral stairs in the middle and a fabulous collection from Albert & Eleanor Morse, good friends of the artist. There was a Frida Kahlo exposition too, so it was a great visit, for sure!

I'm not a big Dali fan but always attend the special exhibitions. The Frida Kahlo was terrific. The building and gardens are just a big of a draw as the art.

Dali was weird and interesting and really talented. So were his friends. The static works of the surrealist master are amazing, awe inspiring, funny, and some are even interactive. There will always be a historical film included to describe his relationship with the featured artists whose works are on featured display, so I have learned a lot by going here.... More

We saw the Frida Kahlo exhibit, and it was a delight. The wall of flowers (her signature love of blooms) and the iconic self portraits of Kahlo were of course startling and visually intense. It was worth the visit. But we then wandered into the main Dali exhibit and it made me wish I had planned to stay longer. So... More

A must see when in the St. Petersburg area. Beautiful gardens surround the main building, an impressive architectural structure on its own. Great organization inside, although you need to be patient waiting for your turn, as the explanation of the use of the headphones takes time. A couple of hours covers both the Dali exhibit and also, across the hallway,... More

The Salvador Dali museum is amazing. This is a major collection of his works and a must see for art enthusiasts. His dreamscapes and his unique take on life are well-represented here. My favorite was the portrait of his wife that becomes Abraham Lincoln from distances of more than 20 meters (see the accompanying photo.) There is a VR room... More

A not to miss experience when visiting St Pete! The docents are excellent, and the arc of Dali's work is remarkable. A genius to be sure.

This museum was designed extremely well. There is a gift shop and eatery/bistro on the bottom floor. The upper floors contain the collections. There is usually a simultaneous exhibit across from the Dali collection. A great experience for anyone that love art. Maybe not so much for the very young...depending on your child's disposition and attention span, that is. Enjoy!

It was an odd collection of Dali paintings. The infrastructure is trying to make this seem like a major museum, but the high cost of the ticket, ten dollar charge for parking, and the art work were all a disappointment.

We were on vacation and It was cloudy and rain was predicted. We had planned on biking but since the weather didn't cooperate we decided to attend the Dali Museum. What a wonderful choice!!! We enjoyed the audio tour immensely! We learned so many interesting facts about Dali and his paintings. It is now my favorite museum!
