Best dinner cruise we have ever taken. When everyone was onboard we departed 20 minutes early! I hate being late! We had drinks and appetizers as we set sail. Food was very good. Music was just what the crowd wanted and many danced and sang along. Staff was very attentive. The view from every table was unbelievable. The open sun deck was a great place to be when not eating or listening to the music. The room was nicely decorated in green for St Patties day. We cruised for 3 hours and covered over 20 miles. Much more than any other cruise I’ve been on. As an added attraction we saw a lot of dolphins which the Captain kept in view for 10 minutes or so. Some folks thought it was a bit pricey but it sure isn’t McDonalds! I think the price was very good for the food, entertainment, and ambiance that we enjoyed. I highly recommend this dinner cruise. Let me know if you need someone to go with you because I will go back!

Everything about this dinner cruise was first class. The food was outstanding. The entertainment was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better was if they left a half hour earlier, as it is a sunset cruise and the sun set at 6:30 that evening and that is when the ship left. It was quite expensive all told, as our bill for two people with only 3 drinks was $280 with tip. I truly feel the least they could have done was throw in the picture they take of you on the bow of the boat while boarding. They wanted $15 additional for that. We left ours on the table as we had taken our own pictures. Other than that, it really was nice, romantic, and special.

This was a great experience. The food and service was excellent! Only complaint is the speakers on second floor could use updating. They were loud and not clear, but when we asked if it could be turned down they immediately accommodated and it was better. I recommend asking for table on bottom floor by band. The fireworks at the end were great!

Terrible does not begin to describe it. They have an exhaust problem. My entire family felt like we had been sprayed with pepper spray. The captain told me they now about the problem. Our waitress told us she starts off her shift every day with tears in her eyes and people ask her if she has been crying. The manager told us that he knows it is a problem but felt no obligation to tell passengers about it when selling tickets or before you board. The issues cased by the smoke and what we believed was pepper, lasted for days and although it did not destroy our vacation it certainly had a negative impact on it.

Additionally the receipt we were sent stated tips will not be added to the bill, yet they added 18% to the bill anyway. See below:

TIPPING

We will provide you with 2-4 hours of service based on your scheduled cruise. The tip is not included in the ticket price. Our servers do work for tips and it is appreciated that you tip at least 18% of your total bill. If you purchase your tickets from a company other than SunQuest Cruises please remember to tip on the amount you paid for the tickets.

Hi Joe, Thank you for your feedback from your dinner cruise in July. Your table was near the onboard galley. Our Executive Chef prepares every meal fresh onboard, which includes searing the beef filet mignon entrees onboard. We apologize that the searing process resulted in discomfort. Since your cruise, our Executive Chef has modified the timeline to alleviate this issue in the future. All parties of 6 or more do have an 18% automatic gratuity added to your final bill. This policy is clearly listed in your confirmation and on our website. All other parties do not have an automatic gratuity but are encouraged to tip at least 18% as our service staff is providing over 3 hours of continuous service.

We went on the July 4th fireworks cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our sons birthday. I bought a birthday package and paid extra for a table by a window. Our table was right next to the computer station where the servers constantly come and go, and it was annoying trying to have a good time with them trying to squeeze in behind us. So letting them know we were celebrating two special occasions and paying a lot extra got us that. The food was just okay and the birthday cake looked and tasted like a cheap grocery store cake. If I had to do it over again , I would spend my $700 elsewhere.

OK now you should read this. There are some positives but the food is not one of them. Its a three course meal with salad/bread, main and dessert. The salad was a sad wedge of lettuce with dressing. The bread was hard. We both got different fish main courses which were really mediocre. The dessert was a cheese cake that both my wife and I hated ( and there were no substitutions ). Advertising this as gourmet meal is really misleading.
Now the positives were the staff. Really nice. They also have a a couple spinning records and doing some singing that was fun. Lots of people danced. The boat itself was nice.
This is very expensive thing to do. Drinks and tip not included. We each had 2 drinks and the total bill with tip was $400. My advice is find a nice sunset boat ride and then go out to dinner at one of the very good restaurants in the area.

I have taken this dinner cruise multiple times - birthday, Thanksgiving, Mothers Day, New Years Eve. Every time was awesome! The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. The views spectacular. I highly recommend the Solaris & SunQuest cruises to locals & tourists alike.

We celebrated a birthday on the boat and had the best time! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food- which isn’t always easy to achieve with a large party. If you get an appetizer, highly recommend spinach crab dip! The band was great, had a variety of music. Service was great. Really enjoyed drinks on the top deck as well as fireworks at the end of the night. Highly recommend!

February 16, 2024 -Food was so so. Not worth what it cost. Very disappointed that the meal was somewhat warm and the vegetables were on the cool side. For what we paid we had to share our dessert with our partner. It was bread pudding. Altho our waitress was very nice and helpful.

Paid extra for a window seat that we didn't even get to see the sunset.

We could barely understand what the band was singing from where we were sitting. We did enjoy the dancing.

Wonderful experience. This was our first time doing anything like this so we weren't sure what to expect. We brought our kids along (2nd-7th graders) and so glad we did. Staff was super friendly and helpful, food was excellent, and the views were beautiful. We paid extra for a window seat and it was well worth it. If you're looking for a night out without kids there is space for that too. Great music and a dance floor. You can hear the music from all levels. Plenty of room to make the night what you want. Had a blast as a family and plan on making this a yearly spring break tradition.
