No sharks teeth here on the day I visited, but plenty of small shells. Bring a digging tool and dig for your shells. There a shells a foot thick under the sand, but you have to work for them. Some shells were tossing about in...More

Get some snacks and go early to snare a parking place for sunset. This is a smaller beach, but great location just across from Captiva Island. People on Sanibel are very friendly as well!

Blind Pass has two small parking lots: one on the Sanibel side, and another one on the Captiva side, which is known as Turner Beach. Yes, the parking lots do fill up fast if the fishing or the shelling here is particularly good that day....More

Tried to visit this beach twice during our trip and was unable to find parking either time. There were several other vehicles searching for parking as well.

Stopped at Blind Pass Beach to walk the beach and check out the shells, they are every where, be sure you are wearing shoes! The only draw back is everywhere you stop it's $5.00. I suppose the space is limited and it's vacation!

I love Blind pass area, fishing from the bridge, hanging on the beach, shelling. So much to do. This time we were on Turner beach and some a couple young boys wave running....think that is what it is called. Insane, as it was very cool...More

We stopped by briefly. Wish we had longer to stay but it was getting dark. Fabulous for shelling. Mounds of shells and I'm sure had we had more time, we could have really filled our shell bags with some gems! Beautiful beaches. Wasn't overly crowded...More

Came to this area to so some fly fishing. Really good Snook fishing right off the beach. Fished other beaches in the area and came here and caught one within the first 10 minutes, as well as lady fish. Many species seem to congregate here....More

May be a bit late on this-sorry! South seas island resort is nice if you prefer a resort type place to stay. A bit pricy, but plenty of amenities to keep everyone busy.
