If you are looking for gems on the beach and rare shells, this is the beach to come to. You will find a variety and endless amount of hidden and rare shells not found on other parts of the island. Come early for best pick.

We found lots of shells, there were warnings about swimming as there is a strong current that runs through the pass/under the bridge, this will most likely vary with the tide, be careful near the water. We walked up the beach a ways and it is a nice beach. Limited parking spots, parking was full and we were not there... More

My family loves this beach. We always find the most unique and beautiful shells here. We love it at sunset and low tide, but anytime is wonderful

would have given this a 5 for the shelling, but there is just not adequate parking. At $4/hour, the city could come up with a better system. We once waited an hour for a spot to open

Never seen the amount of shells before. Granted, we are not experienced shell farmers, but it was still amazing!

Blind Pass has a somewhat small parking area so go early. We like to walk along the beach, gaze over at Captiva, look for shells, watch the birds and relax on the sand. It's fun to swim here also but be careful of the undercurrent at high tide. Very relaxing, free beach but paid parking and a few good restaurants... More

We went to this beach last week. We went about an hour before low tide and through low tide. I expected to find some nice seashells but was very disappointed. From what I have read, this is THE beach to find shells. We couldn't find a parking spot and parked at Turner Besch and walked over the bridge. We didn't... More

The parking lot is small, but there is plenty of room on the beach. Like the other public beaches on the island, this is an hourly pay parking lot. The parking lot across the bridge on the Captive side is larger and the beach on that side of the inlet has restrooms.

We stayed in a condo on Blind Pass. We loved this area. The beach was great. Tons of shells. You are also a short walk to Bowman's Beach....another great beach to visit.
