Love visiting the gardens!

They have beautiful orchid and bonsai collections. The grounds are impeccable. And there is a beautiful view across the bay to downtown Sarasota.

Even if you're not really into flowers, etc. (like me), this is a beautiful place to visit. The property is large, well kept and a lot of things are marked with names and origins (i.e. Bird of Paradise, Australia). It has a wide assortment of flowers and trees, with a lot of educational info. for people like me. Bonus -... More

Guided tour was informative. The ground are absolutely gorgeous, so many different types of plants and trees. The orchid house was amazing so many different ones.

I took my mother to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens for her birthday weekend and she loved it! I thought it was going to be another small and quite boring stroll through some flowers, but I was completely wrong. The gardens have something for everyone, and you can appreciate the thought that was put into the different exhibits. They have... More

This is a must see gardeners delight. The plants and flowers are magnificently cared for and the grounds are beautiful. Christmas time is such a wonderful time to visit as well; all the lights add an extra special magical touch.

The orchid house was recently redone and it is even more stunning than it was before. The blooms were incredible and the pathways were wonderful. A top attraction!

The gardens are always maintained. A huge improvement when they completed the new visitor center and finished the mangrove walk.

We've visited lots over the years and it just keeps getting better. The new children's garden is everything I ever wanted a children's garden to be. There's room to run, climb, swing and play. There are places to hide and many chances to be in the plants. Three cabanas house a play restaurant, a theater and a music area. Music... More

My husband and I just got married at Selby Gardens. We said I Do out on the lawn by the gazebo and then danced the night away underneath the large banyan tree. Even after all the planning I never believed that every detail could have unfolded into the perfect night it did. Everything from the streamed lights to the dance... More
