What a great place to spend an afternoon. The location, right on the bay is spectacular. The variety of exhibits means that one visit may not cover it, anyway there will always be something new to see. The house and art exhibit was a bonus.

If you enjoy old homes, like to see how the rich lived, it is for you. This is a old Fla. home, not the homes of Newport . But interesting.

Lovely views of the bay, fascinating plant species, esp. the orchids. Fun children's rainforest area. Look for their special events.

I am unsure, but if he/she is a therapy dog I would that by law they are allowed. The botanical gardens are all outside so I would think that it would be ok, but I would contact the management just in case.

Everyone reacts differently, but at this time we are not experiencing negative effects from Red Tide. You can always check the latest conditions report online through Mote.
