Selby gardens is a treasure for anyone even mildly interested in horticulture. Exhibits on succulents, bromeliads and natural Floridian plants are excellent. There are many seasonal programs and a great garden music program in the Fall and Spring.

I was somewhat skeptical about going here simply because we visit so many gardens wherever we travel, and I was looking for something a little different since we only had a day left to see Sarasota attractions. I've been to the Museums, but not Marie...More

I dragged my husband to this incredible collection of epiphytes under duress. He was equally impressed with what he learned and the opportunity to wander around an INCREDIBLE piece of property on Sarasota Bay. Amazing work done by the staff and volunteers and learned lots...More

These gardens are a jewel of Sarasota. We first visited at an evening fundraising event. Oh, it was enchanting to see the great-grandfather banyon trees lit up on a warm summers eve. Truly magical with the music, wine and hors d'oeuvres. We became members, even...More

Amazing orchid arrangements, beatiful water views, we spent a very relaxing and peaceful day with friends. We ate lunch under the banyan trees and the salads were good.

We winter a distance away from MSBG but decided to make the drive for the first time to see the orchid show. Admission was $20 for us non-members (less for children 17 and under) which seemed steep. We did see the orchid show, but we...More

Some areas yes, others no. But for the most part of the Gardens....yes. I’d suggest you call them directly also. Enjoy!

The view is great for the 4th, everyone can attend. It’s hot, so dress accordingly and a good bug repellent is probably a good idea. Check the local weather too. Enjoy!
