Restaurants in Downtown Sarasota and the environs are better in general. It is very thick with pedestrians and parking is tight. You will enjoy more of the feel of Sarasota if you venture away from the circle and even go see Siesta Key or downtown. Go here if you need t-shirts and flip flops!

It's been a while since I've made the time to enjoy the circle. The shops, the food, the people - such a lovely way to spend an afternoon!

St. Armands Circle is an bunch of high end stores and restaurants arranged around a rather large traffic circle. To start, there is a lot of parking available, either on the traffic circle or in lots right off of it. There is a very good array of stores and I found the place to be very nice, interesting, and had... More

We visited after seeing the Ringling museum and ate in a restaurant there. The circle itself is nice and shady and the walk around interesting but the best part is the hustle and bustle with all the shops and restaurants

We shopped after dinner and it was so fun. Many specialty stores, fun store names and most had very helpful employees. You can eat, shop and people watch for hours. If you are in the area, go there

A wonderful place to spend the day! There are many restaurants to choose from. There are coffee shops, ice cream, candy, and every type of food restaurant available to choose from. The shops are also everything you could imagine from children's to women's to knick knacks to shoes and art work. It is separated into 4 quadrants so it is... More
