Mind blowing collection of items from the 20's and on. So much to see and absorb. Most impressive was the model mockup of the circus rolling into town. Very informative and well worth the time - you will want to spend a lot of time...More

If you like circuses this is the place to go. It summarizes the history of the American circus. The miniature displays of the circuses are amazing. This is a worthwhile museum. Lots of fun and nostalgia.

Great venue with music and dancing after watching the sunset on Sarasota Bay. Food and drinks (cash bar). One event per month different local bands each time. Some good depends on what you like. It has become so popular that it is by reservation only.

We decided to visit the museum on a rainy Monday morning. To our surprise, the museum entrance is free on Mondays. The collection is quite impressive. You should spend at least 3 hours to enjoy the visit. Highly recommended.

The enjoyed hours at the art museum that is free on Mondays, waking the grounds, viewing the Circus museum and Mansion and sitting on the veranda overlooking the bay. It is a "must see."
