An Old Florida attraction since 1939, Sarasota Jungle Gardens allows visitors to experience things you won't find anywhere else. Feed free-roaming flamingos, watch parrots ride bicycles, catch lemurs at play, stare down a vulture, or pet a skunk. Be sure to visit the Flamingo Cafe for a refreshing lunch or snack. Enjoy one or more of our acclaimed animal shows. Annual events include Holiday Lights, select nights in December, and Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails, every year on Good Friday.

Grover, Thanks for the 4 star review. We understand how you could be a little intimated when you are surrounded by a flock of flamingos when you have food. But as you realized, although they sometimes surround you, they are harmless and are just interested...More

Lovely “roadside” style attraction. At once nostalgic, but cool because of the care for the animals. Includes birds, alligators, mammals, and interactive shows. Teenagers were not as enthralled as the twelve and under crowd, but everyone likes to feed flamingoes! One word of caution. Hurricane...More

Our family really enjoyed not only the animals but getting to see some of the natural vegetation that Florida has to offer! Even my teenage son loved it! The whole place felt open unlike a zoo.
