Overview
More
Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary provides a sanctuary "for life" for the exotic animals currently calling the sanctuary home. Our goal is to create habitats that mimic native environments and are complete with a staff that can provide daily behavioral, sensory, and manipulative enrichment which is the basis for a happy healthy animal in captivity. As we grow and open our habitat to more rescues we will provide the same excellent care while educating the public.

We took our 2 young boys and arrived just after 1. Parking was easy. Prices were reasonable and it was very clear that the money went directly to caring for the animals. There were different kinds of cats, bears, a petting farm, monkeys, zebra, camels,...More

Very entertaining for kids and adults alike. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Animals were awake and playful and enjoying themselves while we wandered through the exhibits.

A very interesting visit, nice outdoor display of animals, and very special animal shows, indoors at appointed times. Monkey show was the tops!

Amazing people taking care of these animals. There are various shows where the staff tells the audience about the performing animals. Light snacks are available and in some instances there is food you can feed to some of the animals. Good place for a half...More

Bring your out of town guests here for a close-up of the best animal trainer we have ever seen. He talks to each one and uses no chair or whip to direct the movement of the cats. This is a large local facility that is...More
