We attended a performance of "Girl Groups - the 60's Explosion" at this funky theater downtown and really enjoyed it. The entrance can be crowded and slow, but the theater is small and intimate, a great venue for a concert or play. The four singers were all talented in their own way & the song choices highlighted each of their... More

All performances that we've been at have been excellent. The theatre is intimate. The problem is trying to get tickets. Extremely frustrating. Even calls to the office for information are not returned etc. The tickets (singles) go on sale in August and are literally gone before you can get through on the internet or phone. Also the location of their... More

Hello "Fullbellies" - Thank you so much for taking the time to write and for the excellent review of our show! We wanted to get back to you quickly - we appreciate all patron feedback, not just the glowing stuff, because that's how we get better. Our management insists that every voicemail is to receive a call-back. Sometimes the voice... More

We attended August Wilson's "The Piano Lesson" and were very impressed with the talent and venue. This is an intimate theater experience, the whole house is very close to the stage on three sides. The performers were excellent.

Enjoyed the talented production of the Piano. It was a little long, but the acting was exceptional. Look forward to returning to see their next production.

This theatre is such a find. The company is full of amazingly talented performers and it offers fabulaous shows in a small intermate setting. I have never seen anything here that I have not loved. A definite must-see for anyone who enjoys the arts in Sarasota.

We've been here twice recently to see the Wiz and Black Nativity. They were both excellent! I'm a big fan of the Wiz, and WBTT definitely did it justice. Don't wait to book your tickets. The small venue doesn't accommodate a huge crowd, but it does offer a nice level of intimacy.

A joy to experience! This company always succeeds, whether it's a full fledged musical or a dramatic play! The creativity that fills this small theatre a a treasure trove. The casting is fabulous! The talent mind-boggling and show stopping! So greatly appreciated by Sarasota theatre audiences, the shows sell out quickly! Become a subscriber like my husband I did after... More

Went last night to see The Wiz. Wasn't expecting a lot-Sarasota does Broadway? It was terrific. The performers were all first rate, excellent singers and dancers. And the venue is a gem. Every seat is close to the stage. A must go to attraction. Sarasota is lucky to have it.
