This is probably been my 35th year in business in siesta key beach. I've been bringing my family there for almost 15 years and it never gets old. The white flour sand and the clear blue water are truly incredible . If you're in Sarasota or anywhere near this part of South Florida you need to respond one day on... More

Crescent Beach is South of the main public beach, and is never as crowded... room to breathe! Same white crystal quartz sand, and the gentle slope shallow water beach is perfect for families with children. At the low tide, large flat areas can be found for kicking a soccer ball, tossing a frisbee, or whatever beach game you prefer. I... More

We have been coming to crescent beach for many, many years. It is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been too. The sand is white quartz and very fine; like sugar sand. It's always cool on your feet. We see dolphins swimming along the shore almost everyday as well as the occasional manatee. If you are looking for... More

Love, love, love this beach! More private than Siesta Beach, but still lots of activity. It seems much more active the last couple of years than it used to be. The sand is soft and white , the water is warm and clear and people are friendly. Best place to vacation and we only like the beach here. It has... More

We went to crescent beach with the intent of snorkeling at Point of Rocks. We entered at access #12 and a short walk down we were in a great spot. Awesome experience. Kids had a blast collecting shells.

Parking is limited so bike or walk but the sand is just as nice. The bonus is point of rocks. Swim or walk south and possibly encounter some crabs and tropical fish depending on the time of year.

The fine white sand consists of fine quartz crystal which reflect the sun's heat, so no matter how hot and sunny it is the sand is always cool and refreshing to your bare feet.

It's a great beach if you don't want to play volleyball, and to avoid some of the crowds. Most people that go there are staying on the south part of the Key. You can just walk in through the public access off of point of rocks rd. You can also walk down there from Siesta Key Beach. It's about a... More
