We stopped at mutiple beaches and this beach had the cleanest water but the sand is too packed for my comfort. Their were sand artists that made large sand sculptures that were extraordinary. Clean beach. Love the pathways over the sandy beach to assist those...More

Red tide was awful major throat itchy cause coughing and itchy eyes. Dead fish littered the beach. There were no warning signs of this terrible condition. Should have more picnic tables near the beach where at least you would have a View.

Beach almost fully rid of red tide. Pleasant atmosphere, walking distance to restaurants. A fun beach; clean and relaxing!

We went 9/26/19-10/4/18. I’ve been to this beach several times over the past 6yrs. It’s normally a gorgeous blue! But during my stay the water had a murkiness to it. It looked more like lake water. I walked in about 10-15 feet from the shore...More

The views were wonderful. The sand however is something to see. It is perfectly white and soft. It’s like walking on clouds!

I like to go to Siesta Beach for sunset. It never disappoints. Even cloudy days are beautiful. This is one of the most beautiful, romantic places to be to watch the sun slip into the ocean. Magnificent.

Not the best snorkeling. We were there for a couple calm days and the kids and I did snorkel a bit but more for looking for shells close up. Not good distance visibility.

Yes; you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Be sure to check current conditions of the Red Tide. Possibly, the Hurricane in the Gulf blew it out.
