Beach itself was amazing. Best, finest sand if ever put my toes in. Too bad red tide was in full swing. Wasn’t as bad as other beaches around the area but you can see the water is discolored and there’s a few dead fish floating...More

It is a beautiful beach and was absolutely stunning in April, 2018. However, our trip over this past weekend (Mid-September) was severely influenced by the Red Tide. The dead fish, smell, difficulty breathing and constant sneezing/coughing was incomprehensible unless you were there. Until a storm...More

My condo rental has a no refund policy and I’m trying to make the best of it. If you’re a ‘water baby’ like myself, vacation somewhere else. Siesta Key is usually more than perfect but this red tide really blows. They do a good job...More

It’s a beautiful beach, but unfortunately the red tide has been merciless this year. The level of stink depends upon the direction of the wind, when it’s from the east, the smell almost disappears. The sand is still powdery white but the water is dark,...More

The beach had beautiful white sand and it was huge. The drawback was that there was SEVERE Red Tide when we were there. Loads of dead fish and the smell was unbearable. I would go there again, but avoid it until the Red Tide is...More

Water that day was a bit murky, sand was a bit slimy. Parking was hell. Most likely will not return.

This beach has the softest, coolest sand you could ever dream of! The public beach is wider than any we have ever seen!

It is a very beautiful beach, but with the red tide, the smell is terrible and the sight of dead marine life is heart breaking. I hope nature rights itself soon.

Beautiful Beach with the softest, whitest sand I've ever seen. Parking and traffic are horrendous during high season.

For at least a few decades the north end of Crescent Beach, at Avenida Messina, has been where we let dogs off-leash. It's been known as "Dog Beach" for a long time, and plenty of people use it as such. In years past, when... More
