I loved this beach. It was red tide when we were there but it is gorgeous, less crowded and close to some cute restaurants.

Bit of a drive but worth it for the ultra white sand. Large beach lots of room with good parking. Red Tide has hopefully moved north.

Wait until the red tide passes if the beach is your thing. Still beautiful, still lots of good restaurants and shopping, but right now, the beach is unpleasant.

I love Turtle Beach. I have been there many times. Away from the crowds of the main beach. Beautiful sand and water.

We stopped off at Turtle Beach after breakfast one morning. We just so happened upon it as we were driving around one morning and loved the views! we actually went back to the condo, changed and came back for the day!

... if you are going in summer check in advance for red tide. It’s a toxic algae bloom that kills marine life which wash ashore and the putrid smell fills the air. Check with Florida Fish and wildlife commission website before traveling. Otherwise it’s a...More
