First, their is plenty of parking to access this beach. Very clean and does have picnic benches and shade for people that need to get out of the sun. The beach is quiet during the weekdays and is very relaxing. One of the traits of the beaches on the gulf is that you don't have large waves, which makes this... More

We visited Turtle Beach on a recent trip to Anna Maria Island. This beach is very clean and also very quiet. We had a great time and the water is such a beautiful turquoise. We will definitely be visiting again!

We visited this beach twice during the week (not weekend). There was plenty of parking, the beach itself was clean and not crowded; the water was perfect! This is a nice beach for a quiet, relaxing day. Didn't have the beautiful quartz sand of Siesta beach, but it didn't have the crowds, either. There's a kayak place in the parking... More

Our boys liked this beach more than Siesta. Great shelling. Kayak to mangroves and secluded beach from here. Saw manatee right off shore.

Loved this beach as it is not as crowded as the main Siesta Key beaches. Great place to watch the sunset. Bathrooms and parking close by, as well as covered picnic areas with BBQ facilities.

When I sold my house and was unable to find a new one I opted to spend the summer on Turtle Beach. The summer was truly glorious. The water, the sand, the kayaking, the kite-boarding & the nearby restaurants make it a desirable location. And any campers..........there is a campsite right on the shore line!
