Lovely old park, very nicely renovated and looks great. Admission only $2. Nice concessions, friendly staff, very clean, Highlight was great glass bottom boat ride. Capt. Bridger did a fantastic job, extremely informative and he handled the boat beautifully, got us close to an alligator too! Really enjoyed our time there.

Great RV camping. The sites are large and not crowded, felt some intimacy and privacy which was nice. The community facilities were nice. Entrance into the park was included in the camping cost which was a surprise. Bicycles and pets allowed in the park too.. Very happy with the trip; will return!!

I have been to many state parks in Florida this is by far is the worst. The only real thing worth doing is the glass boat ride. Keep in mind it is a short 30 minute ride. They do offer longer tours on the weekends. I recommend doing the longer one when it is hot out so you see more... More

My husband and I just loved this park. I wanted to visit this park to see the beautiful blue spring water, and it didn't disappoint. There is a short loop boardwalk along the springs and the water is a crystal clear blue. As we had our little dog with us, we couldn't do the glass bottom boat ride as dogs... More

If you are a nature lover, you should definitely go there and do a kajak tour. I wouldn´t take the glassbottom boat because we make the experience that the animals were scared by the engine and disappeared once the boat was approaching.

If you never heard of Sea Hunt then check it out for some old school tv viewing. This park was owned by ABC and there were many tv shows filmed here as well as movies. James Bond was partially done here, and this is the source of the St. John's River. When you take the tour in the glass bottomed... More

To escape boredom on a cloudy day, we decided to take our kids to Silver Springs to walk around. If you enjoy walking around surrounded by nature, this is a great little day adventure! The cost is affordable, $2.00/person. We decided to stroll down the paths and walk their wrap around bridge. Watch out for the monkeys though! It was... More

This is an American gem located fifteen minutes from Hwy 75 in Ocala, Florida. The park had been privately owned for many years but is now a state park in need of a little TLC. Having said that the glass bottom boat rides are entertaining and a great opportunity to gaze down into the crystal clear water and see fish,... More

Right from the entrance to this park, it is beautifully done! Tons of parking, a very nice walkway offering eating choices, ice cream, fudge etc. and covered areas with padded seating/rocking chairs along the boardwalks overlooking the main end of the spring where you can watch the glass bottom boats come in and out. Beautifully done!! There are numerous walking... More
