Was way beyond my expectations. So much to see, learn. Layout was very good. WW II part very interesting. Civil war, early settlers, everything; a must see.

This is a must see for visitors to Tallahassee. It gives a look into Florida’s history from prehistoric through pre-Columbian and I to the modern era.

The beginnings of life and human habitation seem pretty universal whether you are in Maine or Florida. The bones of long extinct animals and shards of pottery that predate most of history are displayed in this museum so it is an interesting stroll through time....More

it all depends on your level of interest in the various exhibits, as others have aptly described. 3-4 hours would be completely adequate, I'd think. that would include time-outs for a snack and some sit down time to relax... More
