Enjoyed the drive through the wildlife refuge to get to the lighthouse. Lots of water and beautiful birds to view. The light house is nice and appears well kept. Parking is great. Nice picnic area.

Totally enjoyed our drive to the lighthouse yesterday afternoon. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Visitor center closed at 4pm but it was a week day. $5 for the car. Watch for bugs and gators!!

This lighthouse is about 8-9 miles off the main drag. The lighthouse is easily accessible once you get there. Lots of mosquitoes unfortunately

Screaming children kind of ruined the view though. The area is pretty and the beach rats were kind of cute. They seem to like sunflower seeds lol. Saw a ton of gators on the way in, so keep your kids away from the ponds...

The road is paved, but the parking lot and trails at the lighthouse are packed shell, gravel, and dirt. If the root of your question is in reference to handicap accessibility, I would say yes it is accessible, but limited... More
