The old capitol building was restored several years back and is worth taking a step back into Florida's state government history. A lot of interesting stuff for those who appreciate state history.

This beautiful architecture is lovely to see. But the history that lies within the walls is a great way to bring state government to life for kids learning civics. Always enjoy the trips here.

what a great place to visit we had a great talk to the volunteers who obviously know their stuff they were all retired and they were proud of their heritagethe building has been renovated to the old style using the same furniture and carpts

Depending on your level of interest, you view everything in at least 2 hours! This is if you stop and look at the displays and read the stories!
