Maclay Gardens is a State Park inside the city limits. There is a beautiful garden as well as recreational opportunities such as hiking, swimming and boating. Look for seasonal highlights in the garden, like the annual camellia blossoms in December and Christmas decorations and lights.

This is a gem of a park, with beautiful gardens and winding paths. Popular wedding spot or a place to take visiting parents.

Great place to relax and chill. The best time to visit January to April (so I was told) when the gardens are in bloom. Whilst we went in June we still found it to be a beautiful and tranquil place and you can come and...More

A wonderful park area with flowers, a lake and many paths for exploring. There is a small fee (4 usd I guess) to enter the park. Definitely worth it.

This was a gorgeous park. We all loved walking the grounds of the home, the secret garden was out of a movie and the reflection pool, pond, trees....they were all amazing as if you were transported back to that time period.
