This museum really puts the fun into learning and experiencing history. With multimedia shows, interactive exhibits, discovery corners, colorful and easy to follow signs, this museum sets the bar high for quality and relevant material. We appreciated learning more about the Native Americans/Seminoles in Florida,...More

We love museums that tell the history of the areas we visit, and this museum did an excellent job. The only problem was limited parking in a very crowded downtown area. But, well worth the visit.

The history museum is a very interesting story of old Tampa from the 1800's to today. And DO eat at The Columbia Restaurant inside the museum. It also has an outdoor patio.

The docents that conducted our group were amazing. GREAT exhibits that explain the history of the Tampa area and Florida. Well worth the price. I think I will return many times with friends and family. Close to the Aquarium which is a good attraction too.

The museum as a whole is very informative and provides a great diversion from the routine Tampa Bay tourist stuff. We particularly enjoyed the two movie theaters and their films presenting the early history of the Tampa Bay region. It is not very expensive, less...More
