We were surprised how many Manatees one could see. We have been here several times. Nov till Feb is perhaps the best time to see a lot of these calm animlas. Amazing! The Center is very well organized. A lot of wild life explanations around...More

We were so excited several years ago when moved here and learned about the Manatee viewing center. And every year it gets better. TECO has added and improved the facility every year. It is very respectful to the manatees and also a great learning experience.

Great place to take guests and to educate the young. During the winter months there are many manatee, flying fish and huge sturgeon. Nature walk along the waterway as well as educational displays and demonstrations.

Maybe it is the kids ages or the weather or something, but we really found this super boring. It is free, so I guess that's good?

Great place, go before march. The warm water attracts the manatees. Summer they move to deeper cooler water

Remember this is free and limited by environmentalists in that the Manatees have gone by late April but this is a really good spot to see numerous manatees. If you have never seen one, pop along here to view them plus the large selection of...More

Very disappointing as no one explains that the Manatee leave the bay area at the end of March every year. So only go to this exhibit during the colder winter months.

They are typically there in the cooler weather trying to stay in the warmer water. I believe the sight is open all year.
