The arena is set up well for all seats to have a view of stage. The seating seems somewhat steep, could be a problem for drinkers. Be prepared to spend outrageous prices for food and drink!! $6.50 for a bottle of soda, they take the cap from you, too!

Full disclosure: I have been a Lightning hockey fan for many years. I have always watched games on TV until I had the opportunity to see a game last month at Amalie Arena. Even better, it was in a SkyBox, where there are great seats, a private bathroom, and refreshments available. The game did not end well for our ailing... More

a nice cozy arena for hockey or a concert. We love to get Row 1 or 2 in the 3rd deck. Gives a nice overhead view without being too high up, at an affordable cost (for hockey) I also recommend getting the parking pass for the attached parking lot. $20, same as the uncovered parking a block or 2 away.... Have seen many concerts and events here over the years (James Taylor, Michael Buble, Ringling Circus, Cirque du Soleil, etc.). The venue is on par with any big-city sports arena. What makes it special is the River Walk, which is still being developed. You can stay at a hotel and walk to the arena and back, feeling very safe.

Most things were pretty good but a select few employees were extremely rude! One of my team members traveled from Wisconsin and has a really bad knee to the point where she can't move around well. Anyway we were about to walk out a door at the end of the day and we couldn't find an elevator and one of... More

I love the location, I love the events, the parking is convenient. My one big problem with Amalie Arena is the seating. I've not thought about it at other local venues, but there is not enough leg room, the seats felt narrower that I'm used to making me feel like the person next to me is almost in my lap.... More

I liked everything about this place. The seats were great, parking great. The only thing I didn't like about it was the high price of merchandise.
