Stopped to see if we could find some gators, but no luck. Nice boardwalk and picnic sites, it is free and certainly worth a stop. I’m surprised by the size of the lake. A fisherman said there was a big gator that just swam by...More

Really good place for a stroller walk. No paved paths, good trails. Saw tons of animals, alligators and huge birds. Lots of open space and pretty to walk along the water.

Anderson park has so much to offer anyone seeking outdoor pleasure. Plenty of boardwalk trails that get you access to Tarpon Lake to view plenty of wildlife and some monster Alligators. Beautiful picnic sites for a couple or a crowd.

We live close and often like to walk around Anderson Park. We see small gators from the boardwalk and have seen some water snakes. We always check the sink hole on the south side for a big alligator that is often on the rocks. Our...More

As others have responded, there is a nice dog park, and leashed dogs are permitted in other areas of the park as well. Owners must take responsibility for "pooper scooping".

No fee, all free unless you're using the car park from where boats are launched as far as I remember.
