Always enjoy this state park. Love the rapids on the river, the calmness of the scenery and the chance to see native plants and animals. Suspension bridge is always nice, too

Park ranger was pleasant and took the time to tell us about the different trails. The suspension bridge makes some people nervous, but there is another bridge to reach the trails.

This is a pretty state park with some really nice hiking and biking. Great river and wildlife views. Private picnic spots. There is a pool and snack/gift/ice cream bar. Entrance fee is $6.

It's a nice park for a paddle or a hike. I always see plenty of alligators, turtles and birds. Fall and winter are the nicest times to visit.

I don't live in the area so I don't know. Suggest you call the HART - Hillsborough Area Transit - and ask them. The number is 813-254-4278. _
