Wonderful experience. Beautiful springs! Got to see a manatee and several fish & birds. Read several reviews that people were disappointed that it was a shorter time and they could not get out of the kayak; however, we didn’t have anything to compare it to and honestly, 2 hours was perfect for us. We did double back around some areas and hung out with a manatee for a while so we did use our entire 2 hours. I could see how paddling through you would only use 1 hour though. So I’d recommend taking you time and doubling back a little. We are from NC and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely return!

It was an incredible experience kayaking in the springs. You are kayaking with the current, so you only really have to paddle to keep your vessel straight. The entire trip is 2.8 miles downstream and then they shuttle you back to the starting point. The water was crystal clear & saw a ton of wildlife. I need to come back and hopefully catch a manatee swimming! 10/10 recommend!

When I pulled up the place I had my doubts. I had been to Weekie Wachee when I was very young and had fond memories of the mermaid show. However, as an adult it seemed like it might be more for the kids. My impression was wrong. As an adult the mermaid show is equally as magical. Also, the main attraction for my lady and I was the swimming area. It is very nice and clean. The water is clear, cool, natural and refreshing. I’d suggest people of all ages come to Weekie Wachee. It is a gem for sure.

This is definitely the best way to see the real beauty of Weeki Wachee and see it with not so much struggle going upriver against the current. Always polite and professional.

Did the kayaking portion of Weeki Wachee springs and had a great time! Took about 1.5hrs to make it down the spring with the current. Had the chance to see a manatee and the water is crystal clear that you can also see the fish living in the cold water! Highly recommend for nature lovers!
