This was such a fun experience! Clearwater kayaking was something I had never tried before, let alone in a see-through clear kayak. Our tour guide Alexis was super nice and informative, we were lucky enough to see a manatee that swam right underneath our kayaks which was so cool. The water was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much Alexis! <3

We’ve been here many times and this was the first visit since the end of the contract with Rogers Park. It used to be great day out and not bad value when it was over 5.5 miles long. It’s now less than half as long as it was but the price has not reduced. Plus there are hefty fines for being late to the pickup point. You will be finished in 90 mins or less . So unless you are local, you’ll probably spend more time driving than kayaking. The largely shaded spring is still stunning, with crystal clear water and lots of fish, birds, turtles and manatees to see.

We made reservations online, super easy. I highly recommend weekdays because there is less kayakers on the river. You get the kayak for two hours but the 3.8 mile trip usually takes about 90 minutes. No single use containers are allowed so bring a reusable water bottle. I also recommend a dry bag and waterproof case for your phone. There is a shuttle that will bring you back to the launch point and your car. Because we went in late May, I wasn’t expecting to see manatees but we did see one along with three owls, ibises and tons of fish! Easy trip for beginners

Staff made this trip excellent. Great customer service. As a senior with a bad knee they were patient and kind by helping me enter and exit the kayak. I am extremely grateful. Thank You! I enjoyed All of God Nature as I effortlessly floated down the springs.

This is a nice slow river...great for young paddlers and beginners. Water is crystal clear and saw many fish and a few turtles. Unfortunately the water now was pretty shallow so no manatee would be able to make it up stream for us to see. We have seen them last year May and October. The trip has been shortened and would take 2 hours if you go very slow and take time to paddle around. Disappointing because it was a 3 to 4 hour trip before but they no longer offer that and you have to exit at the designated area to be shuttled back by van to your car. We had no issues with the staff unlike other complaints. They were friendly and helpful. We will probably investigate longer trips since we have done this one 3 times and want a longer trip with more to see and explore.
