This has to be the first time I have played a Florida course that had no water. They have waste areas that line most of the course. Tough conditions as the sand is a mix of soft and firm. Great layout with terrific greens with just enough undulation that reading them will take patience. Play could be slow at times... More

This use to be a beautiful old style Florida golf course, with nice trees and lots of grass between the holes. Was a PGA tour event in the 1940's. In 2009, they paid a lot of money to "upgrade" the course. They tore out all the trees and 90% of all the rough. Now it is a big sand lot,... More

but, the city has runined it. there is no club house. they say its going to be built for the past 5 years, still has not happened. Not too crowded. Years ago it was rated 1 on the top 10 public courses in Fl.

Lots of sand. Not just in the bunkers and around the fairways but on the fairways too, and I'm not talking fairway bunkers. The fairways as well as the greens need a big makeover. First they need to fire the Greens keepers and get someone that knows how to grow. Fairways and a first cut. Weeds are not a first... More

No water hazards on this course, but lots of waste bunkers. The fairways are more like hard pan. Traps and Greens were very good.

I played this course a few times. I am a senior playing from the white tee boxes. I found the course very fair. This course for a public course getting a lot of play has been in decent shape. The prices are reasonable I would recommend to average players

In this golf course it is no waterhazarts. In the sides of fairway it is some places white wasteland, so it is netter to play with yellow or orange balls. You can find them must more easier. It is a typical tourist course. The price was not bad, in december under 30 dollars per round. It is not a very... More

Thank you for taking time play the historic West Palm Beach Golf Course. We must admit we are very busy during the season since we are an affordable public golf course that golfers enjoy playing. We are unique since we have no water hazards but our naturally native waste areas can be a challenge for those who find them! We... More

I have played a lot of golf in the area. I recently played here. The club house is small and looks like a temporary trailer. I needed golf balls. The lady there said they were competitively priced. The Bridgestone e6 were about 32 a dozen which is high. The tee times ran about 15 minutes behind. One I teed off... More

West palm is one of my favorite public courses in the area. It was no water. But lots of waste sand. It is always in pretty good shape all around. Did notice some greens run at much different speeds. Always well priced. Everyone is very nice and friendly.
