I lived in west palm in the past and never considered visiting Northwood, but this tie I did and absolutely love it! Northwood seem to be changing and growing into a cute area to walk around and grab a bite to eat! We drove around on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised to see the restaurants busy and people... More

This is a small area consisting of a few blocks, but it's very picturesque and filled with small boho type antique stores, galleries and shops. The shop keepers are super friendly and willing to chat. All in all, a great antidote to huge malls and chain stores, and it's delightful to see small mom and pop stores again. We had... More

So let's cut to the chase. Where do you go to dinner around this area? This place is surrounded by Riviera Beach, which is not an area you're going to normally go to unless you're comfortable in sketchy areas. Or you can go to Palm Beach; and driving around there, looking for a dinner place, I was very proud of... More

I moved to SoFlo from New Jersey. This will be my first fall here. I was missing Lambertville with it's antiquing and cute boho shops. I enjoy the artsy culture there, and was a little sad to imaging a fall without Lambertville trips. I came to Northwood Village to visit the Painted Mermaid for Annie Sloan paint. I just loved... From other reviews I thought there would be some decent shopping here, but it seemed like it was mainly antique stores which I'm not a fan of. I like arts and crafts type items and there were none to be found. I enjoyed shopping at the palm beach outlets instead.

Amazing restaurants and art galleries! There are some really great up and coming culinary options coming out of this area. The art galleries, coffee shops and other stores along the main street are terrific...we had an amazing dinner and then walked up and down the streets.

This is area has put a lot of effort into improving the place, there are a number of interesting places to shop and some great eateries, my favourite being the Thai place Malakor. It¨s got an arty jazzy feel, if you know what i mean. two things are that its quite small and secondly the surrounding areas are still a... More

Would much rather go to Northwood for an evening than the ever-crowded nearby Clematis Street. Love Malakor Thai, and the Sunset Bar and Grill. Hope to see this area make it. Heard there are big plans by the Curry family to develop the waterfront there...also hope it is not ruined. Fun place, and great shops, too.

There are so many choices if you are looking for chain restaurants and big box. There are also lots of choices if you want to look at art and be surrounded by well healed folks. But if you like small, craft-like places and want to be surrounded by people that create art, not just like it and sell it. There... More
