This place wasn't quite what we imagined, but maybe all the flowers weren't in bloom. Regardless, it's a perfect place for a picnic, some time alone, or for bird watching. The Egret nests were amazing and plentiful and we also saw an owl! That was so cool! Worth the visit if you're close by, plus it's free!

This is a cute little park with a beautiful view of one of the lakes in Winter Garden. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and do some bird watching. We had an Anhinga sit on a log grooming itself for at least 15 minutes.

My wife and I visited this small park to escape the hustle and bustle of the big Orlando attractions. It is a beautiful spot to relax and unwind. There is free parking and the view of the lake and some of the magnificent homes that dot the shoreline is amazing. Well worth a visit.

This lovely park on the shores of Lake Maitland is a great way to enjoy an afternoon in Winter Park. Whether the azalea gardens are in bloom or you are there just to experience the huge cypress trees, or lunch in the Exedra Monument, it's a worth a visit.

The advertising says the azaleas are in bloom from January through March, so visiting at the end of January seemed like a good bet. We were shocked by the paucity of azaleas. They were few and far between, as if the gardens had been attacked by a flood or virus and were in need of refurbishing. When you visit a... More

While this small park is not exactly a "destination" attraction, it is a beautiful place to visit if you are visiting the Orlando metropolitan area and looking for a scenic, and free, attraction. Google maps got us there with only one wrong turn on our part, but the neighborhood is so beautiful even the detour was interesting. This park located... More

Our granddaughter was just married here. Small intimate park by lakeside was scenic and near poetic. Great spot for the event. Only downside , not in the control of the park, was the noise from air traffic. With Orlando International not far away, it seems like aircraft were passing overhead about every four minutes.

Is a scenic public park, which is bordered by Lake Maitland on the north and west of the park. Enjoy the beauty and enormous cypress trees throughout the park. The park is open from 8 am till dusk every day. The park is ideal for those that prefer a sunset wedding ceremony. Pets are allowed on a leash.

Nice relaxing park to go sit and watch the birds fly by. Watch the boats, Rollins crew team, see a wedding take place. Just a neat natural place.

Saw this from the boat ride (which is excellent), and decided to drive over to see it. Very glad we did as we just took a casual 20 minute walk through the park. Very comfortable because of all the lovely trees - even in 95 degree heat.
